Biomedical Technician IILocation: Pottstown, PA, 19464Job Summary: The Biomedical Technician II is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and calibration of medical equipment and devices. This position requires a strong understanding of electronics, mechanics, and computer systems. The Biomedical Technician II will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that medical equipment is functioning properly and meets regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment and devicesCalibrate medical equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standardsTroubleshoot and diagnose problems with medical equipment and devicesOrder and install replacement parts as neededMaintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performedTrain healthcare professionals on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment and devicesStay up-to-date with new technologies and advancements in the field of biomedical engineeringQualifications:Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in biomedical engineering or related fieldStrong understanding of electronics, mechanics, and computer systemsExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lift and move heavy equipmentValid driver's license and reliable transportationSalary: $26.51 - $32.48 an hourEmployment Type: Qualifications Benefits
