We're looking for you to become a valued member of the healthcare team at our client's medical facility!Local rates pay rate: $36/hour *W2LPN dutiesProvide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Perform routine patient assessments and document findings accurately.Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and maintain proper documentation of medication administration.Regularly monitor and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and respiration rate.Assist with wound care, dressings, and rehabilitation procedures.Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, progress, and assessments using electronic medical records (EMR) or other designated systems.Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, registered nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary team, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.Educate patients and their families about healthcare procedures, medications, and post-treatment care instructions to promote effective self-management and recovery.Follow established infection control protocols, including proper hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe disposal of medical waste.Act swiftly and effectively during emergencies, implementing appropriate nursing intervention and alerting the appropriate personnel as necessary.Participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to best practices, policies, and regulatory requirements.Maintains compliance and complies with annual requirementsSuccessfully completes required employment-related documentation, testing, and screenings in a timely mannerLPN qualificationsGraduation from an accredited educational institutionLicensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the state in VA.
